Conceived as a permeable organism, the museum is a radically open space in constant dialogue with the urban fabric. This condition is expressed through its main elevations, which engage the city in complementary ways. To the north, a double-skin façade reveals a fluid and accessible interior; to the south, the volume is defined by three large sloping photovoltaic glass surfaces.
This system operates as a dual architectural device: by day, it produces clean energy; by night, it becomes a communicative surface, projecting art back into the city. Using the language of everyday communication—words, sounds, and images—these surfaces act as the most immediate interface between architecture and environment. The plaza in front of the museum reflects this duality: a civic gathering space by day, it transforms into an evocative open-air museum at night.
