The objective was to bring to life the visionary concept of Yona Friedman, a member of the workgroup involved in the limited competition in Bologna. We began by incorporating his vision of a steel sphere casting a shadow over the entire area. This concept evolved into an urban installation designed as an imaginative antenna, symbolizing communication with the global community from the site. The outcome was a suspended garden arranged at varying heights and integrated into a tubular steel structure situated above a pavement showcasing Fuller’s exploration of Earth’s development.
