The project organizes three buildings around an open court. A “L” shaped paved area defines a square, while the inner part
of the court mantains its natural aspect and becomes a park with paths and leisure areas.
One of the building is dedicated to houses for the elderly, and is organized through a gallery, which is not just a distribution space, but also a shared place for socializing. At each level the gallery is fully opened to the park. The groundfloor hosts the common facilities. The other two buildings are social housing units with commercial spaces at groundfloors. The facades, opened to the
inner courtyard, are characterized by a geometric grid that reflects the structural framework and defines a series of loggias
for each apartment. Loggias work as solar greenhouses and extend the living rooms, creating wintergreens that everyone can customize.
