LA PIAZZA

This is why we chose to design a space for social engagement and interaction composed of a large, linear bench circumscribing a four-sided area for L’Aquila’s first Festival of Culture. Within the space there is an arrangement of two- and three-tiered steps that can serve as seating or as podiums, revisiting the typical “devices” that we usually find in public squares.
